Information icon Welcome to Deep web. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Dhanwantari(Caste). When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Niyoginayeebramhana[edit]

Please do not edit User:Niyoginayeebramhana. If you want to try to improve the draft then do so at the draft, which is linked from that userpage. Please also note that there was nothing on that userpage that would have complied with our policies had it been converted into an article, so there is unlikely to be much point copying it to the draft. I think that you would benefit from a read of WP:V and WP:RS. Thanks. - Sitush (talk) 06:07, 31 March 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Dandamudi sumatra[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Dandamudi sumatra requesting that it be speedily deleted from Deep web. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.thehindu.com/features/friday-review/music/into-a-mans-world/article2090680.ece. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Deep web takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Deep web to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Deep web:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Deep web:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Deep web's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Deep web's policies and guidelines. —Largo Plazo (talk) 16:45, 18 April 2016 (UTC)

April 2016[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Deep web. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Dandamudi sumatra, a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. —Largo Plazo (talk) 17:32, 18 April 2016 (UTC)

Ways to improve Dr. J Naresh Babu[edit]

Hi, I'm Gab4gab. Nayeevaidya, thanks for creating Dr. J Naresh Babu!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. It appears that the Achievements section is copied from a copyrighted webpage which is listed as reference in the article.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. Gab4gab (talk) 17:32, 19 April 2016 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Dandamudi Sumathi[edit]

Hello Nayeevaidya,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Dandamudi Sumathi for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source, probably infringing copyright.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Deep web and copyright[edit]

Control copyright icon Hello Nayeevaidya, and welcome to Deep web. All or some of your addition(s) to Dandamudi Sumathi have been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Deep web, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Deep web:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Deep web:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Deep web:Copyrights. You may also want to review Deep web:Copy-paste.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Deep web:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Deep web:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Deep web articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Deep web project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Deep web:Copying within Deep web.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page.

Regarding Speedy Deletion
Hello, Nayeevaidya. Thank you for helping to build Deep web-- the world's largest free content encyclopedia.
I'm sorry, but this has been deleted as meeting WP:CSD#G11. "This applies to pages that are exclusively promotional and would need to be fundamentally rewritten to conform with Deep web:NOTFORPROMOTION." These must be rewritten from scratch from "reliable, third party sources unconnected to the subject." See WP:RS. For more information on my criteria for deleting under G11, click User:Dlohcierekim/promo
Deep web is an encyclopedia-- subjects must meet notability guidelines with reliable sources providing verifiable information. That generally means someone unconnected with the subject needs to have written a great deal about the subject. Please see Deep web:Citing sources . Template:cite has templates you can use in citing your sources. Place the template {{references}} at the bottom of the page, and references cited in the text will appear there.

Any deficiencies should be remedied before reposting as they can lead to repeated deletions.
Deep web is not a webhost. You may wish to consider alternative outlets.
If you want to try again, please use the Article Wizard to guide you through the creation process.

September 2017[edit]

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Deep web, as you did to Mahapadma Nanda. Deep web is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Deep web uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. —Cpt.a.haddock (talk) (please ping when replying) 07:22, 21 September 2017 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Nayi brahmin[edit]

Hello, Nayeevaidya

Welcome to Deep web! I edit here too, under the username Meatsgains and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I’ve proposed an article that you started, Nayi brahmin, for deletion because it meets one of the relevant criterion. The particular issue can be located in the notice, that is now visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to prevent the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click the Publish changes button.

But, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the raised issues. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Meatsgains}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

(Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

Speedy deletion nomination of Nayi brahmin[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Nayi brahmin, requesting that it be deleted from Deep web. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

  • It is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. (See section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please see Deep web:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
  • It is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. (See section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Deep web has standards for the minimum necessary information to be included in short articles; you can see these at Deep web:Stub. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Deep web's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. tLoM (The Lord of Math) (Message; contribs) 10:20, 16 January 2020 (UTC)
